Residential Psychiatric Treatment for Teen Boys

At Laurel Heights Hospital, we provide Long-Term Residential Psychiatric Treatment for adolescent boys up to age 17 who face severe, complex psychiatric and behavioral difficulties. Patients are assigned to a secure residential unit based on their age, gender and treatment requirements.

Our treatment modalities include cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy (TFCBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills groups.

Sexual Misconduct Treatment for Adolescent Males

Laurel Heights Hospital’s SOAR Program is geared for boys ages 12–17 who would benefit from long-term residential psychiatric treatment to address inappropriate sexual behavior. Our program incorporates individual, family and group therapy to help sexually impulsive youth get the treatment and support they need. The goal is to provide continuity of care to help ensure that each patient has a healthy, successful transition back to their home environment.
